At the foot of the Cader Idris mountains in south Snowdonia, Ffynnon Town House is the ultimate weekend retreat - and a chic one at that. The cleverly converted rectory is a cool mix of old and new, and each room has fine Egyptian cotton sheets, White Company products and breathtaking views over the pretty market town and undulating hills beyond. For an extra shot of romance, there's even a hot tub discreetly tucked away in the gardens. The new weekend packages include horse riding on the beach and a luxury picnic lunch for two.
